About the Role
The janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within the facilities of the organization. This position involves routine cleaning tasks, waste removal, and basic maintenance duties to ensure a sanitary and organized space for employees and visitors.

Compensation: Hourly $19.00 -$22.00
Travel Requirements: 10%
Requirements
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins regularly.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies.
Assist in minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor plumbing issues.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.
Follow established safety procedures and guidelines.
Cooperate with other staff members to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Identify key opportunities, challenges, and trends in the field and adjust strategies accordingly.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and materials.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma, or GED
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to use cleaning equipment and tools.
Good vision and manual dexterity.
